The Petitioner seeks bail in Angarghat P.S.

Case No. 03 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a), 38 (1)(2) and 41(1) of the Excise Act. It is alleged that the foreign liquor has been recovered from the vehicle which was driven by this petitioner. It is further alleged that two persons managed to escape but one person who was sitting in the vehicle was also apprehended along with the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has no concern with the aforesaid vehicle and he was mainly driver of the said vehicle.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Samastipur in connection with Angarghat P.S. Case No. 03 of 2017, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
