2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Chandan (Anandpur) PS Case No.153 of 2022 dated 20.08.2022, instituted under Sections 385, 386, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on the alleged date of occurrence, the informant's brother received call from unknown mobile number 7091778549 and the caller demanded Rs.2,50,000/- and threatened to kill on account of nonfulfillment. It is further alleged that thereafter same call was made twice on his mobile.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR is against unknown. The petitioner has been made accused
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12541 of 2025(2) dt.19-03-2025 2/3 only on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, Yugal Yadav @ Yugal Kishore Yadav, who has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 11.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.17071 of 2023. Further submission is that another co-accused, Sulekha Devi, has been granted bail by this Court by order dated 18.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.21188 of 2023. Further submission is that the alleged mobile having no.7091778549 was recovered from the possession of co-accused Yugal Yadav @ Yugal Kishore Yadav. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents.
5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka, in Chandan (Anandpur) PS Case No.153 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,
