In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Tarari P.S. Case No.07 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
Huge quantity of liquor has been recovered from a Tempo, which was registered in the name of this petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has two sons and one of the sons has been arrested by the Police in connection with present case and now he is in jail. He further submits that his second son has not filed any application for bail in connection with aforesaid case and he is likely to surrender before the Court below.

No.9998 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 4th Additional Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, Excise, Bhojpur at Ara, in connection with Tarari P.S. Case No. 07 of 2020, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Further condition is that whenever the police will call the petitioner for the purposes of investigation and interrogation, she will remain present for the investigation. In the event of being absent on two consecutive dates without reasonable explanation, the present order will be treated to have been cancelled.
