This is an application for bail in connection with Parasbigha P.S.Case No. 117 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1 b) a and 26 of the Arms Act. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that it is alleged that one country made pistol and one cartridge have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he is in custody since 26,9.2016 and so far criminal antecedent is concerned, petitioner is on bail in those cases relate to the years 2009 and 2010.

Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that there is recovery and criminal antecedent against the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6525 of 2017 (3) dt.02-03-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and considering the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude it within a period of six months. If the trial is not concluded within the said period the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
