JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL ORDER 02-08-2016 Heard Mr. Sunil Kumar, the counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha, for the State Bank of India (for short "The Bank") For pursuing B. Tech course, the petitioner applied for educational loan. A sum of Rs. 2,32000/- was sanctioned and disbursed between 2006 to 2009 by the respondent-Bank. The petitioner wants waiver part/portion thereof. Nothing has been placed on record by the petitioner to show that under any scheme, the Bank can waive the loan or knock off part of loan. In my view, the petitioner should approach the respondent-Bank and request for waiver of the loan or part

Patna High Court CWJC No.2360 of 2014 (2) dt.02-08-2016 2/2 thereof if there is any policy decision to the effect and/or for fixing easy installments for payment of the loan dues. I am sure, if any such application is filed by the petitioner, the same shall receive due consideration at the hands of the respondent-Bank.

The writ application is dismissed.
