The petitioner seeks bail in G.O. Case No. 531 of 2016, corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 104 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

47.5 liters of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and for that the petitioner is in jail since 02.12.2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was only cleaner of the bus and he had no knowledge about the liquor kept in the bus.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12610 of 2017 (2) dt.11-04-2017 2/2 petitioner is in jail for about four months, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge II, Nawada in G.O. Case No. 531 of 2016, corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 104 of 2017.
