1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned.

2. The petitioner is working as a Panchayat Teacher in Primary School Satyanarayan, Basa, Jolhaniya, under Gram Panchayati Raj Maira. During the service period, she succeeded to get admission in Teachers Training through distance course for sessions 2016-18. She completed the sessions and participated in all the four semesters examination and passed the same, except in Subject Code S1.1 of first semester examination.

3. The petitioner has challenged the discrepancy in the result and for correction of marks obtained by her in Subject Code S1.1 of first semester examination.

4. Learned Counsel for the Bihar School Examination Board submits that no request was made by the petitioner for correction/scrutiny of her marks of Subject Code S1.1 of first semester examination. Referring to Annexure R/2 series, he submits that a decision has been taken by the State Government and the S.C.E.R.T to conduct a supplementary examination of Diploma in Elementary Education (Open Distance Learning) course. He further submits that in the said examination, the petitioner can participate and clear the paper in which she has failed. He next submits that the process for holding the examination has begun and the modalities are being chalked out by the Bihar School Examination Board in consultation with the S.C.E.R.T.

5. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that since 2018, five years have already passed, but no supplementary examination has been held by the Bihar School Examination Board. The respondent-Bihar School Examination Board may be directed to conduct the

In view of the aforesaid submission of learned Counsel for the Bihar School Examination Board, the present writ application is disposed with liberty to the petitioner to participate in the supplementary examination to be held by the Bihar School Examination Board for Diploma in Elementary Education (Open Distance Learning) course.

7. The Bihar School Examination Board is directed to conduct the examination as pearly as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today.
