The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence under Section 30 (a) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

It is alleged that 600 ml. of country made liquor has been seized from possession of this petitioner during checking of the vehicle. Petitioner is said to be in custody since 20.12.2016. It has been submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In such circumstances, keeping in view the period spent by the petitioner in custody and petitioner has clean antecedent, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief
