The Petitioner seeks bail in K. Hat (Maranga) P.S. Case No.598 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30-A of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 20.12.2016 having clean antecedents.

It is alleged in the written report that 48 bottles of Mac Dowell Rum, each 3.750 ML, were recovered from the room of the petitioner's house.

Keeping in view the period spent by the petitioner in custody, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7884 of 2017 (2) dt.02-03-2017 2/2 bail bond of `10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, in connection with K.
