Petitioners apprehend their arrest in Raushanganj (Bankebazar) P.S. Case No.11 of 2019, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The police on secret information raided the house of the petitioners and from the house of Chandradeep Chaudhari, petitioner no.2, 10 litres country made liquor and from the house of Ganauri Chaudhari, petitioner no.1, also 10 litres of country made liquor was recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that recovery was made from the joint house of the petitioners and petitioners had no knowledge about the fact that liquor was kept

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14104 of 2019(2) dt.07-03-2019 2/2 in their house.

Considering the fact that the petitioners were alleged to have been selling liquor and on such 10 litres each was recovered from the house of both the petitioners, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
