1. Heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned.

2. The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the District Magistrate, West Champaran, at Bettiah, to dispose P.D.S. Appeal No. 529 of 2019-20.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that an appeal has been filed by the petitioner being aggrieved by the order of the licensing authority, dated 09.11.2019, by which the P.D.S. License No. 81 of 2016 of the petitioner has been cancelled.

4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that he has no instruction as to whether the appeal pending before the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4814 of 2020(2) dt.15-02-2024 2/2 District Magistrate has been disposed or not.

5. Having heard learned Counsel for the parties concerned, the District Magistrate, West Champaran, at Bettiah, is directed to dispose P.D.S. Appeal No. 529 of 2019-20 within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if the same has not yet been disposed.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed.
