JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-02-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners being parents of husband of victim are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and under section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demands.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that specific accusation of demand of motor cycle and freeze as dowry is against the husband of complainant. The accusation against these petitioners is omnibus and general.
