The Petitioner seeks bail in Shyampur Bhatha P.S. Case No. 79 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged in the written report that informant received ransom call on his mobile from different mobile numbers as mentioned in the written report including mobile number 969324854. During investigation, it has come that the aforesaid mobile number belongs to this petitioner. This fact also finds mention in the impugned order.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that grand-daughter of the informant Nidhi Kumari had love

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8129 of 2017 (2) dt.08-03-2017 2/2 affairs with nephew of the petitioner Saurabh Jha and Saurabh Jha used to call Nidhi Kumari by using SIM of the petitioner. The informant was aware about this love affair, hence as a way of revenge, the present case has been lodged against the petitioner. It has been mentioned in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

The petitioner is said to be in custody since 04.01.2017.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Shyampur Bhatha P.S. Case No. 79 of 2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner. (Sanjay Priya, J) Shageer/- U T
