2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:
"That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for directing the respondents to release all the retiral benefits including gratuity, provident fund, earned leave etc. to the petitioner with statutory interest w.e.f. 30.06.2015 as they have released the said benefit to other teaching staffs who retired on the date of their superannuation itself as well as to promote the petitioner on the post of Reader with effect from
Patna High Court CWJC No.20081 of 2016 dt.17-02-2018 2/3 14.12.1997 and to fix the pension with effect from 30.6.2015."

From the materials on record, it transpires that the University has discharged its obligation with regard to payment of admissible legal dues of the petitioner by issuing appropriate orders and also communicating the same to the Bank. With regard to Group Insurance, the stand is that it is being calculated and shall be paid within four weeks. However, learned counsel for the University submitted that Group Insurance amount, which is still left, shall be paid within four weeks.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that actual payment has not been released in his favour despite order passed by the competent authority in August, 2017 itself, copies of which have been brought on record in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of Veer Kunwar Singh University.
5. Be that as it may, the writ petition stands disposed off with the observation that as per the commitment made before the Court by learned counsel for the Veer Kunwar Singh University, the Group Insurance amount be paid to him within four weeks, if already not paid.
6. Let learned counsel for the petitioner implead the Branch Manager, Central Bank of India, V.K.S.U., Ara as respondent
Patna High Court CWJC No.20081 of 2016 dt.17-02-2018 3/3 no. 5. Necessary correction be made in the cause title by learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of the day.
7. The newly added respondent no. 5 shall also ensure that if actual payment has not yet been made to the petitioner, the same shall be done within two weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order before him.
