This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of khusrupur Police Station Case No. 242 of 2019, disclosing offences under Sections 341/323/379/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner fired upon the informant by means of pistol, causing injury near the chin of the informant.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and from perusal of the injury report (Annexure 2), it appears that the

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the fact that the injury sustained by the informant, though simple, but caused by firearm and the petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
