The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Madhepura (Bharahi OP) P.S. Case No. 466 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 354(B) and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the FIR, petitioner no. 2 caught hold of the daughter-in-law of the informant and petitioner no. 1 dragged her on the ground and assaulted her causing injury. It is submitted that specific accusation of assault is against co-accused Ravinder Yadav. So far as these petitioners are concerned, allegation of assault is general and omnibus.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12767 of 2022(2) dt.22-08-2022 2/2 There is case and counter case. Present case is counter blast of Madhepura (Bharahi OP) PS Case No. 296 of 2021 which was lodged against informant and others. Petitioners have got clean antecedents.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioners abovenamed, in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in connection with Madhepura (Bharahi OP) P.S. Case No. 466 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
