Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State through video conferencing. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 341, 323, 379, 326, 504 and 354/34 of the Indian Penal Code, registered in connection with Awatar Nagar P.S.Case No. 24 of 2020.

As per the allegation, the petitioner Chandrama Sharma, co-accused Bhim Sharma, Mannu Sharma and Sunaina Devi badly assaulted the informant and his wife The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22200 of 2021(3) dt.08-02-2022 2/2 that there is land dispute between the parties. Both the parties are agnates and the allegation is general and omnibus. Since the above-named three accused persons including the present petitioner badly assaulted the informant and his wife and the informant sustained sharp-cut injury and also a lacerated cut of muscle-deep and the injuries were grievous, as such, it is not a fit case for anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time as provided hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
