Petitioners are permitted to make necessary correction in the bail petition in the course of the day. The petitioners seek bail in Samastipur G.R.P. Rail P.S. case no. 84 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

It is alleged that during checking of Gangasagar Express which was coming from Asansol, 12 bottles of foreign liquor have been recovered from possession of petitioner no. 1 and 10 bottles of foreign liquor have been recovered from possession of petitioner no. 2. Both were arrested on the spot by the police.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8787 of 2017 (2) dt.17-03-2017 2/2 It is submitted that both the petitioners have clean antecedent and they are in custody since 27.12.2016. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioners is allowed. Let the petitioners above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Samastipur in connection with Samastipur G.R.P. Rail P.S. case no. 84 of 2016 subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioners.
