JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-07-2022 The short prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the Circle Officer, Raxaul, District East Champaran to dispose of the pending encroachment case bearing Encroachment Case No. 09 of 2017-18.

The Ld. Counsel for the Respondent State Shri Dhurjati Kumar Prasad- G.P.14 submits that immediate steps would be taken to ensure that the aforesaid encroachment case is disposed of by passing final order u/s 6(1) of the Bihar Public

Patna High Court CWJC No.787 of 2019(2) dt.01-07-2022 2/2 Land Encroachment Act, 1956.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Circle Officer, Raxaul, District East Champaran to dispose of the aforesaid Encroachment Case No. 9 of 2017-18, after hearing the effected party, by passing a final order u/s 6(1) of the Act, 1956 within a period of eight weeks of the receipt/production of a copy of this order.
