JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 22-03-2017 Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition in Public Interest and the grievance of the petitioner is that two villages, namely, Dhanchhuhan and Jagdishpur in Maharajganj Nagar Panchayat are neither notified in the Gram Panchayat nor included in the Nagar Panchayat of the Block even though the Collector, Siwan on

Patna High Court CWJC No.566 of 2017 dt.22-03-2017 2/2 13.12.2014 has communicated to the Principal Secretary, Department of Urban Development & Housing, Govt. of Bihar Respondent no. 2 certain resolution passed with regard to including these two villages in a particular Nagar Panchayat. It is stated that the matter is pending and more than two years have passed but no action has been taken and in consequence thereof those villages do not fall within any local area.

2. In view of the aforesaid grievance of the petitioner, which a matter within the domain of the respondent no. 2, we deem it proper to direct the respondent no. 2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, take note of the communication made by the Collector and notify those two villages in a particular local area in accordance with law within a period of 30 days from today.
