1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are persons with clean antecedent and are women and the informant alleges that the accused persons including the petitioners assaulted him by sharp edged weapon causing injury on forehead. It is further submitted that no doubt, the case is of the year 2016 but then the petitioners were not aware that they have been implicated in the instant case by the informant. It is

No.14582 of 2025(2) dt.02-04-2025 2/3 next submitted that from perusal of the injury report annexed as Annexure-2 to the anticipatory bail application, it would manifest that the injury report was issued in the year, 2019 i.e. three years after the occurrence which casts an aspersion on the case of the prosecution. It is also submitted that injury no. 2 and 3 are opined to be simple and with respect to injury no. 1, it is recorded that the same is incised in nature caused by some sharp cutting object. It is submitted that allegation of assault against the petitioners is general and omnibus in nature and they being the women have been implicated only with a view to coerce the male members of the family into submission. It is further submitted that no process under Section 82 Cr.P.C. has been issued till date.

4. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and the fact that petitioners are women and no process under Section 82 Cr.P.C. has been issued as submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, let the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail

No.14582 of 2025(2) dt.02-04-2025 3/3 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/Successor Court in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 170 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
