No.10663 of 2022(3) dt.09-03-2022 2/2 The present criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed for extension of time granted to the petitioners vide order dated 01.02.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 12598 of 2021. Initially the modification petition has been filed on behalf of the 12 petitioners but all the petitioners have surrendered except petitioner Nos. 3, 4 and 10 namely Shankar Paswan, Vishnu Paswan and Kamlesh Paswan. This fact was added by way of supplementary affidavit. The reason for not surrender has been given in paragraph No. 7 of the petition that in order to earn their livelihood the petitioners went Punjab and they were trapped in lockdown.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the time limit for surrender granted to the petitioners vide order dated 01.02.2020 is further extended for a period of four weeks from today.

With these observations, this criminal miscellaneous petition is being disposed of. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time provided in para 1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
