JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-06-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 376/34 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 4,6 & 8 of the POCSO Act.

There is specific allegation of commission of rape against the petitioner which fact has also been supported by the victim in her statement under section 164 Cr.P.C. Considering the aforesaid facts, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
