This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Special Case No.14 of 2006, arising out of Vigilance P.S. Case No.19 of 2006, disclosing offences under Sections 192, 193, 198, 199, 200, 201, 109/34, 120(B), 419, 465, 466, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 13(1) (d) read
with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
Considering the fact that similarly circumstanced co-accused persons, namely, Amulya Ratan Prasad Sinha @ A.R.P. Sinha and Prabhu Prasad, have been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail by this Court vide orders, dated 15.02.2012, passed in Cr. Misc. No.6864 of 2012, and 28.06.2012, passed in Cr. Misc. No.15090 of 2012, respectively, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, abovenamed, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance, North Bihar, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Special Case No.14 of 2006, arising out of Vigilance (Patna) P.S. Case No.19 of 2006, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438
(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
This is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall present himself before the police/Court, as the case may be, as and when
required and in the event of failure on his part to appear before the Court on two consecutive occasions, his bail bond shall be liable to be cancelled.
