The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought, inter alia, following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "That this is an application for issuance appropriate writ or writs, order or orders and direction or directions in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the concerned respondents specially the respondent no. 3, 4 and 6 to transfer the petitioner from Middle School, Sihkund, Block- Kharik, District- Bhagalpur

Patna High Court CWJC No.2959 of 2025(2) dt.25-02-2025 2/2 to any other school under Kharik Block as life and liberty of the petitioner is under threat and danger due to constant and continuous threatening is being given by local criminals. And/or for issuance of any other consequential writ or writs in the fact and circumstance of the case."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is presently posted as Block teacher at Middle School, Sihkund, Block - Kharik, District - Bhagalpur where he has threat of life due to continuous threatening by the local criminals and he seeks that he may be transferred to any other school under Kharik Block.

4. Considering the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the petitioner, I find that the transfer order cannot be held to be penal or punitive in any manner calling for interference by this Court.

5. In case the petitioner has threat of his life, he can seek remedy in accordance with law.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
