Heard the parties in virtual Court.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a)(C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Allegation is of recovery of liquor. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Petitioner has stated on oath that neither the vehicle on which liquor was recovered nor the premise from which belong to the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2020.

Considering the facts of this case aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22418 of 2021(2) dt.31-08-2021 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with G.R.No.1320 of 2020 arising out of Mandanpur Police Station Case No.284 of 2020 with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.

(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
