Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has filed objection under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act'). However, warrant of attachment of movable property has been issued without passing final order under Section 10 of the Act.

Under the circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the authority concerned to consider

Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
