Mr.Ashhar Mustafa ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 24-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State as well as Tilka Manjhi University.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is that he has not been granted the benefit of ACP and MACP under ACP and MACP rules.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is entitled to payment of arrears of difference of salary as well as pension on account of completion of 12 years and 24 years of regular service and the benefit under ACP as well as MACP.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4421 of 2020(2) dt.24-06-2020 2/2 Learned counsel submits that there is no determination of the entitlement of the petitioner. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Vice-Chancellor of the University to take appropriate steps with regard to entitlement of the petitioner and also ensure payment of difference of arrears of salary and revised pension, if permissible on grant of ACP/MACP. Entire exercise in this regard may be completed by the respondents at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, failing which the petitioner shall be entitled to payment of interest @ 9% from the date of filing the writ application dated 25.2.2020.

With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
