No. 2540 of 2016 with a prayer to allow the petitioners to amend prayer in the writ petition. Along with the interlocutory application the petitioner has also filed a supplementary affidavit on 29th March 2016. Sri K.D. Chatterjee, learned senior counsel, assisted by Sri Rai Saurabh Nath, learned counsel for the petitioners, in presence of learned AC to SC No. 6 submits that in view of the statement made in paragraph no. 6 of the supplementary affidavit

Patna High Court CWJC No.4497 of 2014 (11) dt.18-04-2016 2/2 no purpose would be served in passing any order on the interlocutory application or on the merit of the writ petition. He submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition petitioners have already filed an appeal under Section 72 of the Registration Act before the Collector , Jehanabad. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is being disposed of even under the heading "For Orders On Petition" with an observation that the learned Collector may examine the appeal of the petitioners in accordance with law expeditiously. The writ petition stands disposed of.
