The petitioner, who is a PDS dealer, seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Akilpur P. S. Case No. 29 of 2020, instituted for the offence under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. For not having kept the display board in front of

The learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the accusation is false. The customers present in the shop have not lodged any complaint with respect to their not having received the quota of the subsidized foodgrains. There is no compliant in the past also of any one of the beneficiaries attached to the shop of the petitioner.

The petitioner is a licensee since 2016.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge XIII, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Akilpur P. S. Case No. 29 of 2020, subject to the
