JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 11-07-2019 Petitioner's Counsel submits that the petitioner had participated in the selection pursuant to Advertisement No. 1 of 2014 issued in the year 2014, for appointment to the post of Constable. He was declared successful in the written examination, however result for the physical examination test was not published. He submits that the respondents be directed to consider his claim.

Jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is subject to the petitioner's approaching this Court diligently. Exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 cannot be for such persons, who slept over their rights and after

Patna High Court CWJC No.354 of 2019(2) dt.11-07-2019 2/2 awaking from their slumber and as per their own convenience raise a claim for selection in the selection process of 2014 as late as in the year 2019.
