The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Tariyani P.S. Case No. 313 of 2021 lodged under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the F.I.R., allegation is about recovery of 02 litres country made liquor from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 18.12.2021 and charge sheet has already been filed in this case having two cases pending against him other than the present one on which he is on bail. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In the present facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12299 of 2022(2) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Excise Judge-2nd, Sheohar in connection with Tariyani P.S. Case No. 313 of 2021. Petitioner is also directed to file an undertaking that he shall not involve in such types of activities in future before trial court at the time of furnishing his bail bond.
