JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 28-02-2020 The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent authorities to make payment of admitted outstanding dues with interest pertaining to agreement no. 11F2/ 2018-19/ 1F2/2018-19, totalling to a sum of Rs. 53.144 lacs. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the respondent no.2, i.e. the Principal Secretary, Minor Irrigation Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, so that he can consider the case of

Patna High Court CWJC No.4059 of 2020(2) dt.28-02-2020 2/2 the petitioner and make payment of the aforesaid admitted outstanding dues within a stipulated time frame. Having regard to the short submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, which is not opposed by the learned counsel for respondents, I deem it fit and proper to dispose of the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no.2 by filing appropriate representation for payment of the admitted outstanding dues, as aforesaid and in case such a representation is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the respondent no.2 shall consider the same and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks thereafter and in case any admitted outstanding dues are found payable, the same shall also be paid within a period of eight weeks therefrom. The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
