The petitioners are parents-in-law, brothers-inlaw and sister-in-law of the informant respectively. They

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12390 of 2020(4) dt.07-12-2021 2/3 seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Jehanabad Mahila P.S. Case No. 65 of 2019 dated 25.11.2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 498(A), 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that there has been a settlement between the parties and pursuant to the aforesaid settlement, whatever amount was agreed to be paid by the husband to his wife, has already been paid. The husband of the informant has been granted bail pursuant to such settlement of dispute.

This fact has been affirmed by the learned counsel appearing for the informant.

Considering the aforenoted facts, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their
