The petitioner is languishing in custody in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 365/34, 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged by the informant that his daughter was killed by her in-laws family members including the petitioner due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand. It is also alleged against the petitioner that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12476 of 2022(3) dt.03-01-2023 2/3 the petitioner being husband of the victim was having extra marital affairs with a girl of the village and that was also a reason for feud between the deceased and her husband.

It appears that vide order dated 13.07.2022, a report was called for with regard to the present stage of the trial.

The report has been received and it has been kept at Annexure-A. The report suggests that out of six prosecution witnesses, three have already been examined and with regard to rest of the witnesses, processes have already been issued for their examination.

In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to interfere at this stage.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed off with a direction to the learned Trial Court to conclude the Trial within a period of three months from today. The petitioner will be at liberty to renew his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12476 of 2022(3) dt.03-01-2023 3/3 prayer for bail, if the trial is not concluded within a period of three months.
