JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 28-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 94 of 2016, Trial No. 34 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 8, 18 and 22 of N.D.P.S. Act.
It is alleged that 12 kg. of Ganja has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The seizure list bears the signature of the petitioner.
In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months if no substantive progress is made in the trial. (Sanjay Priya, J) S.Ali/- U T
