The petitioner seeks direction to the respondent no.3 to take a decision on the application of the petitioner for grant of licence for carrying N.P. Bore rifle.
It is contended that though the application was made on 10.01.2000 but no decision has been taken as yet by the licensing authority.
In view of above, this application is being disposed of
Patna High Court CWJC No.3388 of 2015 dt.14-09-2015 2 / 2 with a direction to the respondent no.3, the District Magistrate, kaimur at Bhabhua to take a decision on the application of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
