The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Maner P.S.Case No. 575 of 2016 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Allegation is that from the backside of the shop of this petitioner, after digging a ditch, 44 pieces of foreign liquor, each containing 750 ml, were recovered.
It is submitted that the recovery is neither made from the possession of the petitioner nor from his premises and he has been in custody in this case since 22.12.2016. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, named above, is directed to be
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6645 of 2017 (2) dt.15-02-2017 2/2 released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Randhir Kumar, learned A.C.J.M.-VIth, Danapur in connection with Maner P.S.Case No. 575 of 2016.
