The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Punpun (Patna) P.S. Case No. 339 of 2018 related to Special Case No. 11614 of 2018 for the offence 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 56 liter of country made Mahua liquor from the Indica car. The learned counsel for the petitioners referring to paragraph 11 of the petition has submitted that the vehicle does not belong to the petitioners and the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12905 of 2019(2) dt.01-03-2019 2/2 the petitioner no.1 is having a clean antecedent and as far as petitioner no.2 is concerned, he is accused in one other case in which he is on bail. The petitioners are languishing in custody since 07.12.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Court (Judge), Excise, Bihar in connection with Punpun (Patna) P.S. Case No. 339 of 2018.
