JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 14-02-2020 The only grievance of the petitioner is that though Kudhni P.S. Case No. 503 of 2019 has been registered as back as on 05.08.2019 (Annexure '1') till date the investigation has not progressed.

It is submitted that in view of the inaction on the part of the police authorities, appropriate direction be issued to the Senior Superintendent Police, Muzzaffarpur (respondent no. 3) to take an appropriate view of the matter, supervise the case and issue necessary direction to the Investigating Officer so that the investigation may be

Learned counsel for the State does not oppose the prayer of the petitioner.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case finding that the prayer of the petitioner is a reasonable one and is only looking for proper investigation of the case, there cannot be any opposition to such prayer, this court directs the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur (respondent no. 3) to look into the grievance of the petitioner, examine the same and being supervising authority issue necessary direction to the Investigating Officer of Kudhni Police Station, Muzaffarpur, to complete the investigation and submit a police final report preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

This Criminal Writ Application stands disposed off accordingly.
