The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Singheshwar P.S. Case No. 221 of 2022 for the offence registered under Sections 341, 323, 494, 498 (A), 504, 506, 34 of the I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Allegation against the petitioners is of torturing due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is husband of informant and allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus. He is in jail custody since 15.10.2022 having no criminal antecedent. Charge-sheet has already been submitted against the petitioner and therefore there is no chance of tampering with the evidence.
