The petitioners being parents of the husband of the informant are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 342, 452, 307, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Basic accusation is of torture and causing electric shock to the informant for non-fulfillment of dowry demand after 10 years of marriage.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the accusation of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand, after 10 years of marriage, appears to be unreasonable. The injury report brought on record by way of affidavited explanation by the Superintendent of Police, Madhubani, kept at

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17323 of 2016 (6) dt.08-08-2016 2/2 'flag-C', reflects that the doctor did not find any injury or abnormality claimed to have been caused by electric shock. Considering the nature of accusation and the accusation being not corroborated with the medical opinion, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Madhubani, in connection with Basopatti P.S. Case No.54/2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
