The present application has been preferred for: issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction commanding respondents for fixation of Lagan (Rent) in favour of the Petitioner for the land bearing Khata No. 270, Khesra No. 362, area meaning 0.12 decimal and Khata No. 271, Khesra No. 400 area measuring one (1) acre, both situated at Thana No. 267 and Revenue Village - Balthari, Kochas, Rohtas for which the petitioner is legally entitled to in view of judgement dated 03.02.2010 passed in Title Appeal No. 56/2002 passed by Additional District and Sessions

Patna High Court CWJC No.3315 of 2026(2) dt.16-03-2026 2/2 Judge, Fast Track - I, Sasaram coupled with the decision of the Chakbandi Officer, Kargahar, Rohatas dated 20.07.1987 passed in Case NO. 81/1976-77 and order of the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Sasaram dated 16.09.2014 passed in Lagan 2014 fixation Case No. 03/2011-12;

The petitioner has come before this Court with a simple prayer to take appropriate steps on the petition pending before the Office of the Circle Officer, Kochas, Rohtas pursuant to the order passed by the Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Sasaram dated 16.09.2014 in Lagan Fixation Case No. 03 of 2011-12.

4. Learned State Counsel submits that the same will be taken to its logical conclusion.

5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 5, the Circle Officer, Kochas, Rohtas to take appropriate steps/notice all the concerned parties, if still not noticed and in next three months, to take the matter to its logical conclusion.

6. The writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid observation.
