ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 10-07-2024 Learned counsel for the petitioners on instructions has stated that as the petitioners are willing to implement the award dated 14th September, 2020 in ID case No. 01 (c) of 2019 & 09 (c) of 2014 & 02 of 2011 passed by the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Patna. Learned counsel has drawn the attention of the Court to the order passed by the Industrial Tribunal wherein the Industrial Tribunal has awarded compensation amount of Rs. 1 lakh to be paid to the workman, Sri Krishna Kumar Singh i.e. respondent No. 1 herein within the period of two months failing which the same shall carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum.

2. Having regard to the above made submissions, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.8423 of 2021(17) dt.10-07-2024 2/2 present writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to pay the compensation of amount of Rs. 1 lakh along with interest calculated at the rate of 9 % per annum from the date of order till date within a period of one month from today.

The authorities are directed to deposit the above amount to the credit of the saving account of the Respondent No. 1 and in case the Respondent No. 1 fail to furnish the details of the savings account, the authority can pay through demand draft drawn in favour of the Respondent No. 1 and send the Demand Draft by the registered post acknowledgment due to the last known address of the Respondent No. 1.
