2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in Complaint Case No. 1214 of 2023, registered under Sections 323, 354(B), 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. According to the complainant, her marriage was solemnized on 26-05-2021. The cash and customary presents were given on the occasion of marriage. Thereafter, the accused persons tortured her for demand of dowry.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that after marriage, the complainant was selected as constable in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14879 of 2025(5) dt.23-12-2025 2/2 Bihar Police and thereafter, she refused to reside with the petitioner. He is still ready to keep the complainant with full honour and dignity but she is not willing to reside with the petitioner because the petitioner is an unemployed person. The allegation of torture and demand of dowry is made after selection of the complainant in Bihar Police.

5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the complainant submits that the petitioner used to torture the complainant for demand of dowry.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with Complaint Case No. 1214 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure/482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
