The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that the petitioner demanded Rs.10,000/- form the informant for providing electric connection but in spite of payment of Rs.10,000/- no electric connection has been provided to the informant.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no proof with regard to the payment, which is alleged to be made on 18.06.2013 whereas the F.I.R. has been registered on 21.01.2014.
Considering the nature of accusation, let the above
