JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 18-04-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Agamkuan P.S. Case 289 of 2016 (Spl. Case No. 58 of 2016) instituted for the offence under Sections 8/20(b), (ii), (a) of N.D.P.S. Act. It has been submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He is old man aged about 75 years. It is alleged that 20 packets of Ganja containing 20 grams each, have been recovered from the tea stall of this petitioner. Petitioner is said to be in custody since 19.8.2016.
Keeping in view the clean antecedent of petitioner and period spent by him in custody, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned
