The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 376D, 420 & 324 of the Indian Penal Code. Prosecution case in short is that Bipul Kumar forcibly carried the informant on his bike to an apartment. It is further alleged that the accused persons having taken her to an apartment, committed illegal act upon the victim giving threatening to viral video of the victim on social media. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 13-12-2019. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. He is a student of Chanakya National Law University. The victim was

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11640 of 2020(2) dt.28-02-2020 2/2 examined by the medical officer. The medical report of the victim does not support the allegation made in the FIR. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-Ist Class, Patna in connection with Patna Mahila P.S. Case No. 147 of 2019.
