JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 26-06-2019 The writ petition alleges irregularities in the selection for Anganwari Sevika/Sahaika for Ward No. 8 in Village Pandaul in the district of Aurangabad.

Prior to approaching this Court the petitioner has already filed his application before the District Programme Officer, Aurangabad. The application has been submitted by post and it is submitted that till date no action has been taken on the same.

Patna High Court CWJC No.101 of 2019(2) dt.26-06-2019 2/2 In view of amendment to 2006 guidelines with effect from 17.5.2013 the District Programme Officer is the competent authority to examine the grievances. Therefore the writ petition need not be kept pending. This Court would only observe that the District Programme Officer, respondent No. 6, should consider the application of the petitioner expeditiously without any undue delay after hearing the parties concerned in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
