JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-11-2022 Though the present writ petition was filed for directing the District Arms Officer, Rohtas at Sasaram to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 21.5.2014, which the petitioner had filed for grant of arms license, however, a counter affidavit has been filed in the Court today, by the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent-State, wherein it has been stated that

Patna High Court CWJC No.6830 of 2021(2) dt.10-11-2022 2/2 the case of the petitioner for grant of arms license has been rejected by an order dated 6.7.2021, passed by the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram.

In such view of the matter, nothing survives for consideration in the present writ petition, however, the petitioner is granted liberty to file appropriate appeal, if so advised, against the aforesaid order dated 6.7.2021.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
